Explore Incheon Airport Sky Garden, Free Admission

Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) announced that a 36,000-square-meter Event Garden at Sky Garden near Incheon Airport will be open to the public for free from May 24 to June 7.

Sky Garden, a relaxation area established by IIAC on a 380,000-square-meter plot of unused land southeast of Incheon Airport, is a popular spot where visitors can enjoy both the natural scenery and the sight of planes taking off and landing.

Since 2018, as part of its community outreach efforts, IIAC has been planting flower gardens (canola flowers in spring and cosmos in fall) at the Event Garden, making it accessible to the general public. Last year alone, the garden attracted approximately 210,000 visitors, reflecting its popularity.

Ahead of this year's opening, IIAC has added several new attractions to the Event Garden, including:

• A canola flower field
• The Sky Lounge (visitor convenience facilities)
• A massive flower whale sculpture (20 meters long, 10 meters high) created in collaboration with the Goyang International Flower Foundation
• Three mini greenhouses
• A flower tunnel
• A colorful parasol street

Sky Garden will be open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, including weekends and holidays. To ensure visitor comfort, IIAC has set up two observatory huts, 17 swing benches, 25 outdoor tables, and deployed staff for guidance.

Visitors can reach Sky Garden by taking a free shuttle bus from Airport Cargo Terminal Station on the Airport Railroad to the temporary Sky Garden bus stop in the International Business Complex direction. Bicycle access is also available via the Incheon Airport bike path. For those driving, a parking area with approximately 400 spaces is available at the entrance to the Event Garden.

President Lee Hak-jae expressed his hopes for the event, saying, "We hope that citizens visiting Sky Garden will enjoy the late spring ambiance and create happy memories. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance the airport experience by providing unique attractions and entertainment both inside and outside the airport."
