OOH and Art: CUZ Introduces Immersive WAA Digital Art Platform at SXSW

Media art company and member of WOO (World Out of Home Organization) CUZ has unveiled "WAA" (Where Art's Alive), a premium media art platform combining art and technology, at the world-renowned SXSW (South by Southwest) 2025 festival in Austin, Texas this March.

SXSW, held annually in Austin, is a global creative industry festival that merges music, film, and interactive media, bringing together artists and creators from around the world to expand the boundaries of art. During this year's event, running from March 7-16, CUZ is showcasing its WAA platform, which leads the digital transformation of art.
WAA is a customized media art platform designed for luxury hotels, premium offices, and large commercial facilities, creating immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between space and art. Featuring Korea's largest collection of over 1,000 ultra-high-definition (4K-8K) media artworks, the platform transforms architectural spaces into canvases where art changes organically according to the characteristics and atmosphere of each environment, offering viewers a new way to experience art in everyday settings.

At SXSW, CUZ has installed LED displays at the Austin Convention Center to demonstrate WAA's innovative artistic experience. The platform's extensive collection of high-definition media artworks changes organically to match spatial characteristics and ambiance, breaking down barriers between space and art while enhancing SXSW's experimental and artistic atmosphere.
