Kakao Mobility Unveils 91-Meter ‘SEOUL PANORAMA’ Digital Screen at Seoul Station in South Korea
Kakao Mobility announced that it will officially launch SEOUL PANORAMA, a giant digital media screen at KTX Seoul Station, on September 1.
The new SEOUL PANORAMA replaces the station’s existing lightbox ads (total area: 238㎡) with a massive 501㎡ digital panorama. This upgrade allows advertisers to run a variety of campaigns tailored to their goals, taking advantage of Seoul Station’s huge annual foot traffic of over 100 million people.
Seoul Station is a major transportation hub in South Korea, connecting high-speed trains (KTX), subways, private vehicles, and taxis. According to Korail and the Seoul Open Data Plaza, the station sees about 73 million rail and subway passengers, 32.7 million private vehicle users, and 2.26 million taxi users each year.
Using its own mobility platform data, Kakao Mobility can offer precise audience targeting. Insights from Kakao T Train, Kakao T Taxi, and Kakao Navi show where travelers start and end their journeys, as well as their demographics, enabling more effective, targeted advertising.
The media space measures 91m wide by 5.5m high (total 500㎡). Commercial ads run across 20 slots, with guaranteed daily exposure: 100 plays for 20-second ads and 70 plays for 30-second ads. The screen operates from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.
A Kakao Mobility said SEOUL PANORAMA will be a landmark digital out-of-home (DOOH) platform at the gateway of Korea’s transport network. It delivers both large-scale reach and precise targeting for advertisers.
