AdAsia announced OOH Keynote Speaker and Virtual Influencer Ambassador
The organizing committee of AdAsia 2023 Seoul (General Chair Nack Hoi Kim) announced that Korean virtual Group MAVE:, developed by MetaVerse Entertainment, a subsidiary of Netmarble FNC (CEO Seo Woo-Won), has been appointed as a virtual influencer ambassador for AdAsia 2023 Seoul and was presented with a certificate of appointment.
‘MAVE:’ is a four-member virtual group created by Metaverse Entertainment, a joint venture between Kakao Entertainment and Netmarble. Since its debut in January, MAVE: has received a strong response from global K-Pop fans. Their debut song 'Pandora,' surpassed 25 million views on its music video, and they made their debut stage on terrestrial music broadcasts as a virtual group. They also achieved a streaming record of 41 million on the music streaming platform Spotify.
Opening a new chapter as a virtual group, 'MAVE:' has been selected as the Virtual Influencer Ambassador for AdAsia 2023 Seoul. This event delves into emerging digital content and platforms such as metaverse and virtual influencers.
Nack Hoi Kim, General Chair of AdAsia 2023 Seoul Organizing Committee, remarked, “MAVE:, opening a new chapter as a virtual group, is expected to not only embody the most current trends in the IT industry but also portray the future of the advertising and marketing sector, where human and and technological elements converge."
And Mr. Kim added that Tom Goddard, the President of World Out of Home Organization will be a keynote speaker in the Out-of-Home advertising category.
AdAsia 2023 Seoul will take place from October 24 to 27 for four days at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. With 64 years of tradition behind it, AdAsia is Asia’s largest conference on advertising, digital content, media, creative content, and marketing.
This year marks the third time AdAsia to be held in Korea. The theme of the event is ‘Transform, Play, and Connect’ which serves to highlight the new reality that advertising in the digital era is not about how to ‘sell’ but how to make consumers ‘enjoy’, thus connecting the world together.
