Seoul Incheon International Airport in South Korea has once again solidified its position as one of the top airports globally, being ranked 6th in the category of World’s Best Airports for Shopping at the 2024 World Airport Awards. This prestigious honor, organized by Skytrax, is based on annual customer satisfaction surveys, evaluating airports worldwide in areas such as customer experience, service quality, and facilities—with a particular emphasis on the importance of shopping options within the airport.

This year, Doha's Hamad International Airport claimed the top spot, being named the World's Best Airport for Shopping.

Topping the list this year is Doha's Hamad International Airport, which was crowned the World’s Best Airport for Shopping. It was followed by London Heathrow Airport in second place, Singapore Changi Airport in third, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in fourth, and Dubai International Airport in fifth.

Incheon’s 6th-place finish reaffirms its status as a world-class airport, renowned for its exceptional shopping experience. The airport is not only praised for its efficient operations and stunning design but also for its diverse range of luxury boutiques, duty-free shops, and unique offerings from Korean brands, providing travelers with an unforgettable shopping experience.

The World Airport Awards are regarded as one of the highest honors in the global aviation industry, with over 550 airports worldwide competing for the top spots. The rankings are determined through one of the largest global airport customer satisfaction surveys, with millions of passengers contributing their feedback. This makes the awards a significant benchmark for quality in the airport industry, reflecting the real experiences of travelers.

Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization, was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in London, UK. It is known for its globally recognized airline and airport rating programs, which evaluate both product quality and staff service standards.
